Aquatic Management and Maintenance Services
The Authority is seeking proposals from qualified aquatic
operators with proven experience in managing, programming, and maintaining publicly owned
outdoor aquatic facilities to partner with the Authority to operate the newly renovated
Pool in Novato, California.
The Finance Authority is a joint powers authority
of the City of Novato and the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Novato.) Hamilton Pool
is located on the former Hamilton Army Airfield overlooking the beautiful San Pablo Bay in
the San Francisco Bay Area. The approximate four-acre site was fully renovated in fall 2009
with new facilities including two pools, bathhouse, office and security check point, water spray
and play features, solar heating, and barbecue facilities.
The purpose of this Request for Qualifications/Proposals (RFQ/P) is to provide information
to prospective aquatic operators, interested in entering into a Use Agreement partnership with
the NPFA, detailing the services desired, a basic description of the aquatics facility, the
expectations relative to an aquatic operators qualifications, and the submittal requirements.
This information is intended to enable aquatic operators to submit an RFQ/P to manage,
program, and maintain Hamilton Pool.
