Applied Historical Support Services
This requirement provides the JHO with the applied services of a senior military or diplomatic historian, or seasoned national security professional with equivalent training and experience in the realm of national defense policy, necessary to deliver timely and accurate historical support to the JS and JCS. Applied historical support services include: conducting oral history interviews, fulfilling requests for information, preparing information papers, conducting special studies, and documenting the Joint Chiefbs contribution to national policy through research, writing, and publication on topics outside the scope of, but relevant to, the JCS and National Policy Series.
