Anti Skid Control Unit Shelf and Installation
Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a sole source Firm Fixed Price delivery order to General Atomics - Systems Integration (GA-SI) to procure 15 Anti-Skid Control Unit modification kits and subsequent installations onto the E-6B aircraft. The effort will include a mounting shelf, vibration isolators, and hydraulic lines and their installation.
This intended procurement will be processed pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), whereby the supplies and services required are available from only one responsible source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. GA-SI is the original designer, developer, and manufacturer of the modified brakes for the E-6B and is the only source with the necessary technical capability to fabricate and install the kits in the timeframe necessary to maintain ready for tasking metrics. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by NAVAIR.
