The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation at any time. This project is for adding an anti-ram cable system and replacement of the existing gate with an anti-ram gate in the Malmstrom AFB, Montana missile complex. The anti-ram cable system consists of posts, cable, cable hardware, and attaching system to existing cathodic protection system. The replacement of the existing gate with an anti-ram gate consists of removing existing gate, installing an electrical duct bank and pull boxes, pulling wires back to source, installing new wire from source through duct bank to load, and installing the new gate. The Request for Proposal will be available on or about 7 September 2019. The Request for Proposal will close on or about 21 October 2019. The Performance Period for this project is one hundred and eighty (180) calendar days after receiving the Notice to Proceed. The Notice to Proceed will be issued within 10 days after award of the solicitation. This acquisition is open to small businesses in accordance with the Small Business Jobs Act of 2010. The Request for Proposal will be available by Electronic Transmission only at: http://www.fbo.gov. Potential contractors must be currently registered in the System for Award Management to be eligible for award. (See internet site: sam.gov). All responsible sources must submit an offer good through 31 December 2019, which shall be considered by the agency. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00
