Annual Supply of Gravel
The ability of the City to control operating costs and deliver prompt service is an important
aspect of gravel availability. The quantities listed in this specification are "estimated" annual
requirements. The City will place orders as needed and is not obligated to purchase the quantities listed
in this bid specification.
The following are the minimum specifications for gravel. Any variation from these specifications must
be noted on bid submittal sheet. The material must conform to 2010 WSDOT Standard Specifications
see Attachment #1 and shall not contain hazardous substances above the levels specified in State
specifications as stated in Attachment #2 - Table 2, Method A Cleanup Levels-Soil, of the Model Toxics
Control Act (MTCA) Cleanup Regulation, Chapter 173-340-740 WAC. A random sample of material
may be taken at any time to be tested for their conformity to these State specifications.
