Annual Aspirational DBE, MBE and WBE Goals for 2009
The North Carolina Department of Transportation ("Department") desires to engage a qualified private consulting firm ("Firm")to assist in preparing the required annual disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE) methodologies and goal for each of the three
Department Divisions of Aviation, Public Transportation, and Highways for federal fiscal
year 2009. Each overall DBE goal, which will be further broken down into race/genderconscious
and race/gender-neutral goals.
The Department also desires to engage the qualified private consulting firm to assist in preparing the required annual minority (MBE) and woman (WBE) business enterprise methodologies and goals for the Division of Highways for state fiscal year 2009. The
MBE and WBE goals will be further broken down into race/gender-conscious and race/gender-neutral goals.
The methodologies and goals will be submitted to the Board of Transportation no later
than October 31, 2008.
