Angles National Forest Fire and Aviation Division, Incident Management Platform
The USDA Forest Service Pacific Southwest Region (R5), is seeking firms that qualify to meet the Governments requirement. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY to identify valid sources and to gauge the business interest for the following development of an APP based Incident Organizer Platform that would utilize GIS and other data to provide USDA Forest Service Wildland Fire Response Personnel with real-time information on topography, hazards, fuel breaks, weather, critical infrastructure and values at risk including life and property in the Angeles National Forest Area. The APP needs to be accessible on mobile devices, including: phones, tablets and smart table. Interested parties should furnish the following information (1) A brief capabilities statement, to include: see information in attached Memo. (2) Company name, address, point of contact, telephone number, email address and website address. (3) Business type: 8(a), Women-Owned, Historically Underutilized Business Zone (Hub Zone), Small Disadvantaged, Service Disables, Veteran Owned Small Business, Large or small Business, etc. (4) CAGE Code, DUNS Number and a list of Government solicitation sites that your company is available on (i.e. FedBizOps, GSA eBuy, GSA Alliant, Oasis GWACs, FedBid, NASASEWP, NITACC etc.). Electronic versions of your statement, Twenty (20) pages or less shall be submitted via email to samanthawatts@fs.fed.us. No telephone calls will be accepted. Responses are due NO LATER THAN 13 June 2018 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time. MARKET RESEARCH IS BEING CONDUCTED to determine if there are small businesses with the capabilities and experience to perform the required work. The USDA Forest Service Pacific Southwest Region (R5), will use information obtained through this synopsis to develop an acquisition strategy. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT.
