F-15E Ammunition Container
The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for qualification and repair of the F-15E Ammunition Container for use by the U.S. Air Force. If after reviewing the requirement, you desire to participate in the RFI, you should provide documentation that supports your company's capability in meeting these requirements. If you lack sufficient experience/capabilities in a particular area, please provide details explaining how you would overcome the lack of experience/capabilities in order to perform that portion of the requirement.
NSN is 1005- 01-298-2522 P/N is 10029110, and Repair Method Code (RMC) is R3.
Current source is General Dynamics-Ordinance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS).
This item has an RMC/RMSC of R3, and this code is used when the Government did not initially purchase the data and/or rights. GD-OTS is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and has proprietary rights of the data; therefore, they are the only company with the full source documentation detailing the design, operation, manufacturing details and repair of the F-15E Ammunition Container. Existing knowledge of the design, special tooling, unique engineering skills, specifications, function data, schematics, drawings, and knowledge of required manufacturing processes requires acquisition of the part from only GD-OTS.
