The Alzheimer's Foundation of America is accepting applications for its annual Brodsky Grant, which recognizes an innovative program or service that improves the lives of individuals with Alzheimer's disease and related illnesses, as well as the lives of their families.

The Brodsky Grant will provide $30,000 to a new or existing program that betters the lives of those affected by dementia. Winning programs must demonstrate innovativeness, greatest need, and replication potential. Programs could involve, but are not limited to, hands-on care, delivery of social services, cognitive stimulation, the arts, safety, and training.

Only nonprofit organizations that are members of AFA may apply. Organizations that join AFA prior to the grant deadline are eligible.

For further information about the Brodsky Grant, as well as other AFA funding programs and foundation membership, visit the AFA Web site.
