Alternative Student Loans
The University invites experienced and qualified firms to submit proposals for alternative student loans for the 2009/2010 academic year. Proposals submitted will be evaluated by committee to ensure that any loans listed on the Universitys suggested lender list are beneficial to students.
The University will have one suggested lender list for alternative loans (for undergraduate and graduate students), one for School of Law Bar Exam Loans, and one for School of Medicine/Dental Medicine Residency and Relocation Loans. The University (with the exception of the Schools of Medicine/Dental Medicine) will participate exclusively in the William D. Ford Direct Loan Program for all federal loan programs for the 2009/2010 academic year. Lenders wishing to be considered may submit proposals for any or all of the suggested lender lists for which they would like to be considered. All lenders who wish to be considered must respond to each question specific to the loan program for which they are submitting information.
