Alternative Education Services

The Division is seeking proposals for an alternative education program in Aroostook County.
Alternative education services will serve youth between the ages of 16 and 21 who under the supervision of the Division residing in Aroostook County. Youth referred will have a history of school failure, expulsion or have a court order to stay away from their serving school.
The primary goal is to provide opportunities for these youth to further enhance their chances of success in an educational setting. Alternative education services will consist of self-paced educational classes at the secondary level and must be provided by a licensed and accredited institution through the State of Maine.
