Alternate Learning Centers
The New York City Department of Education (NYCDOE), Office of School Youth Development (OSYD) is seeking proposals from organizations experienced in hosting centers that provide transitional services to students, while suspended. The intent of this RFP is to identify community based organizations (CBOs) that have available, or will attain before the commencement of the contract, Class G (Educational) space to collaborate with the NYCDOE for centers to instruct suspended students in two (2) new Alternate Learning Centers (ALC) sites in Manhattan, each serving 80 students at any given time. Additionally this space must be approved by the Division of School Facilities (DSF) prior to the award of contracts.
