Alpha Ridge Landfill: Design of Groundwater Treatment System Expansion
Howard County desires to engage the services of a qualified engineering firm for the study, design, and
construction administration of an expansion to the Alpha Ridge Landfill Groundwater Treatment and
Recovery System in Marriottsville, MD. The Contractor shall conduct a study, perform all design, permitting,
and some construction administration services, and conduct a follow through operational assessment and all
work necessary to complete the work. A pre-submittal meeting will be held at the Alpha Ridge Landfill,
Maintenance Bldg at 2350 Marriottsville, MD 21104 Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at 11:00 a.m.
Expressions of Interest will be opened on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Howard County
Office of Purchasing Conference Rm. located at 6751 Columbia Gateway Drive, Suite 501, Columbia, MD
21046.
