Alexia Foundation Invites Applications for Professional Photography Projects
The Alexia Foundation is accepting applications from individual photographers for its Professional Alexia Grant Program.
Through the program, a professional photographer or visual journalist will receive a $20,000 grant to produce a substantial body of work that shares/promotes the foundation's goals of promoting world peace and cultural understanding. The foundation welcomes proposals for still photography as well as multimedia projects.
There is a $50 application fee.
Photographers and visual journalists from any country may apply. Proposals for projects that have already received grants or awards of more than $1,000 in the previous calendar year are not eligible.
The foundation will begin accepting applications on January 2, 2017, and the deadline for submissions is January 31, 2017, at 5:00 p.m. ET.
