Alerting & Notification System Master Contract
The State of Illinois intends to establish a master contract to provide a rapid alerting and notification system. The contract will include all hardware and software, customization, implementation services and consulting.
Many State Agencies rely on the ability to quickly communicate information to necessary recipients in order to carry out their missions. The most effective method to fulfill this need is through a system that will provide fast, reliable communications to multiple recipients. The system being requested will provide the capability for voice, fax, text messaging and paging communications, along with management, tracking and reporting tools.
State agencies including IDPH, IEMA and CMS have an immediate need for such a system, and it is expected that other agencies will also be able to utilize its functionality to improve their communication abilities.
The chosen solution is anticipated to establish a State standard for this type of system for the duration of the contract.
