Akamai Content Delivery Network Services
Akamai Content Delivery Network (CDN) Services -- High volume Internet content delivery services. Offeror provides content delivery services; this service caches or temporarily stores content from agency origin internet servers and forwards the content to end users. If the content is already on the vendor edge network the content will be provided without contacting agency servers; however, if the content is not on the vendor edge network, or the data is expired according to configuration, the edge server will contact the agency origin servers to refresh data.
