Airport Layout Plan Update Project
Non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting May 11.
The Airport (Airport) requests proposals from
consultant teams qualified to conduct Professional Aeronautical Surveying services and prepare
an Airport Layout Plan (ALP) update as part of the approval process for the Runway Safety
Area (RSA) Program. Surveying services shall include completing an Airport Aeronautical
Survey for Instrument Procedure Development in accordance with Table 2.1 of FAA Advisory
Circular (AC) 150/5300-18B. Data collected will include aerial photography, runway end
positions, runway vertical profiles, positions and elevations of navigational aids (NAVAIDS),
positions and elevations of obstructions, and accurately positioned airport geodetic control tied
to the National Spatial Reference System (NSRS). Preparation of the ALP update shall meet
the current standards rather than electronic-ALP (e-ALP) standards being developed by the
FAA. The consultant will prepare all documentation necessary for submission of the ALP
update to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and be fully responsible for its
preparation.
