Aircraft Systems and Spaceflight Engineering Support Services (ASSESS)
NASA is still developing its acquisition strategy, but is considering the use of a total small business set-aside for ASSESS. The Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) and contract type for each CLIN is still being developed; however, NASA is considering using a Cost Reimbursement (No Fee) contract type for an Other Direct Cost (ODC) CLIN. The value of ODCs can vary widely from year to year, but are estimated at approximately $1.5 million per year. These ODCs may include categories such as material, equipment, subcontracts, and travel.
