Aircraft Maintenance
SCOPE OF WORK:
1. The work shall consist of performing annual inspection, 100-hour inspections, major airframe and engine maintenance and repairs, and preventative maintenance of two (2) state-owned Scout aircraft (N88417 & N7695S) and two (2) PA-18 Supercubs (N34FG &N7761D). These aircraft are used for aerial surveys.
2. Services required include completion of 100-hour and annual inspections and major airframe and engine maintenance as required. Typically three 100-hour inspections per Scout as well as the annual inspection and two 100-hour inspections and the annual inspection for the Supercubs each year. Base rate of annual inspection for this contract includes all labor to inspect the aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations for an annual inspection, time spent reviewing applicable airworthiness directives and service bulletins, and time spent make log book entries. Engine replacement may be required on one or more of the aircraft.
CONTRACT PERIOD: From date of final award, through December 31, 2013, with the option to renew upon mutual agreement between the State and the Contractor for two (2) additional one (1) year periods.
