The Department is requesting proposals for the purposes of selecting a firm(s) to provide aircraft deicing fluid (ADF) distribution and recycling services. The overall objectives of the City in awarding and managing this agreement are as follows: 1) Provide for the receipt, storage, and distribution of ADF to the air carriers at DIA, as needed, in a cost competitive and efficient manner. 2) Assist the City in optimizing the collection of spent ADF. DIA has one of the best, if not the best, spent ADF capture rates in the country. DIA’s spent ADF management system is operated based on best professional judgment. DIA expects the recycling contractor to act as a partner in the efficient management of this system. 3) Recycle and/or reclaim all collected spent ADT with a concentration greater than one percent (1%) propylene glycol. 4) Services provided under this agreement will be performed in a manner that is compliant with all environmental laws and regulations and with all permits held by the City and County.
