Airbus Signalis Equipment O&M Services
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) intends to enter into a Sole-Source, Firm-Fixed Price service contract with Airbus Defense and Space Inc., 2550 Wasser Ter, Ste 9000, Herndon, VA 20171. This Sole Source determination is based on the need for maintenance of an existing information sharing architecture, which consist of three workstations, in an "as-is" state.
The anticipated period of performance is for one year. This requirement will be processed under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253(c)(1) implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1 entitled, "Only One Responsible Source and no other Supplies or Services will satisfy agency requirements".
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334511.
The Government intends to solicit and negotiate directly with Airbus Defense and Space Inc. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, if an interested party believes it can meet the above requirement, it may submit a statement of capabilities. The statement of capabilities must be submitted in writing and must contain material in sufficient detail to allow the Government to determine if the party can perform the requirement. A determination to complete this action is based on the responses received in the sole discretion of the Government. All interested parties must express their interest and capabilities in writing via mail, facsimile or email. Documents over 10 pages total will not be accepted. Verification of receipt of response are the sole responsibility of the contractor. If no responsive statements are received by September 3, 2019 at 12:00pm EST, an award shall be made to Airbus Defense and Space Inc.
