The Airport Authority invites proposals from qualified firms interested in providing air service development services including the preparation and presentation of business cases to targeted airlines.
The Airport is a vital and important part of our area's economy and quality of life. Over the past several years the Airport has undergone many changes, and is continuing to evolve to meet the ever growing demand for aviation services in Northeast Mississippi.
Our runway is 6,500' feet by 150' with ILS, PAPI's, VOR, and AWOS. There is a 650' extension to the north planned to start next year for a total runway length of 7,153'. The airport has an Air Traffic Control Tower that is operational from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. seven days a week 365 days a year. The airport is ready, and the community will support and use increased scheduled air service at the Tupelo Airport.
