On behalf of GSA R8 Assisted Acquisition Services (AAS) and the Air Force Medical Support Agency (AFMSA), GSA Market Research is researching capabilities for the following requirement. We are inviting industry to respond to this market research to help us demonstrate a competitive market for the below requirement.


This RFI is being submitted to gather comprehensive market research from GSA Multiple Award Schedule holders as well as Open Market contractors. The purpose of this initial RFI is to gather general industry input on how this type of requirement is best solicited and best practices.
NOTE: GSA Schedule 03FAC vendors that respond to the eBuy solicitation this Request for Information (RFI) do not need to respond to this RFI posted elsewhere.


Requirement Overview:
Air Force Medical Support Agency (AFMSA) Medical Treatment Facility Operations & Maintenance. The Government and AFMSA have a requirement to maintain their medical treatment facilities through the award of Medical Treatment Facility Enterprise service contract(s). As these facilities provide medical treatment services a large amount of mechanical and electrical equipment is necessary to provide continuous, redundant environmental support. These facilities and systems require ongoing scheduled preventative maintenance, unscheduled service and repair, as well as minor construction (repair and alteration) work

This RFI is for informational and planning purposes only and it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government for any actual procurement of materials, machinery, or services. Respondents are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI are solely at the responding parties' expense. Respondents are solely responsible for properly marking and clearly identifying any proprietary information or trade secrets contained within their response. The Government will not be liable for or suffer any consequential damages for any proprietary information not properly marked and clearly identified. Proprietary information received in response to this sources sought will be safeguarded and handled in accordance with applicable Government regulations.


By responding to this market research you provide the Government permission to share your submitted capabilities and contract information with other Government organizations in relationship to similar requirements for market research purposes.



Once you submit your form - here is the experience you should expect. A confirmation email will be sent to the email you have included in your response. This indicates your response has been received and provides you a copy of your full response. Please note, Ebuy might still show a pending status, don't worry about this, as long as you receive the confirmation email you should consider the RFI response received. Finally, GSA Market Research will follow up with the client contact information after a full report is delivered to the client. This is typically within 5 business days and will allow you to ask any follow-up questions directly to the Agency.
