Air Conditioning Unit Installation
The Bureau of Reclamation intends to issue a Request for Quote (R14PS00767) for a firm fixed-price contract for an Air Conditioning (AC) system to be installed in the Local Area Network (LAN) and Security Equipment Room for the Folsom Administration Building in Folsom California. This system will be a redundant/backup Air Conditioning (AC) system that will provide continuous cooling of the electronic equipment stored in the room in the event of a failure of the existing cooling system. The new AC unit shall be a 5-ton Canatal ClimateWorx Series 6 Model number 6AD05WEBHGX or equivalent. The current equipment supports the entire IT infrastructure of the Folsom Area Office and Security system, and a backup system is required to provide uninterrupted cooling of the equipment.
This requirement is being advertised under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 238220, with a small business size standard of $15 million. This procurement is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned small business.
Solicitation R14PS00767 will be posted on FedConnect at www.fedconnect.net and FedBizOpps at www.fbo.gov on or about July 22, 2014. The date for receipt of quotations shall be August 5, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time. All quotations shall be submitted via e-mail to [email protected].
