Aggregator-Operated Commercial Demand Response Program
The Idaho Power Company (IPC or the Company) is issuing Requests for Proposal (RFP) seeking professional services to implement and operate an aggregated commercial demand response program within IPCs service territory. The primary goal of this program is to reliably reduce demand during peak hours of specified summer months.
IPC currently offers several energy efficiency programs, as well as residential and irrigation demand response programs as described in Attachment B titled Demand-Side Management 2007 Annual Report. The Company is aggressively pursuing all cost-effective Demand-Side Management (DSM) resources to continue its commitment in providing reliable, responsible, fair-priced energy services, today and tomorrow.
