Afghanistan Airlift Support
This solicitation is a COMPETITIVE SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE.
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation (CSS) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the procedures in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 and is being utilized in conjunction with the policies and procedures for solicitation, evaluation and award prescribed in FAR Part 15.101, Best Value Continuum. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This CSS is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP).
This requirement is for a contractor to provide professional services and general airlift support throughout Afghanistan. This requirement shall be accomplished by providing a mix of contractor owned / contractor operated (CO/CO) fixed and rotary wing aircraft, operated and maintained in accordance with (IAW) the Commercial Airlift Review Board (CARB) Requirements, Title 32 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Part 861 DoD Commercial Air Transportation Quality and Safety Review Program, and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) standards or equivalent.
This will be a Firm Fixed Priced with Reimbursable Other Direct Costs (ODCs) Contract.
