Work Request: Seeking a study of the countys workforce housing market.
Additional Work Details: The study shall generate comprehensive information, analyses, and policy recommendations for preserving and expanding the supply of affordable workforce housing to meet current and projected future demand associated with population growth, economic expansion, and escalating property values in Prince George's County, bearing in mind the county's desire to also attract higher end housing development. The study will include an analysis of past trends, current status, and projected demand, supply, and cost of workforce housing in Prince George's County, as well as the wide-ranging issues affecting the affordable workforce housing market. The consultant shall produce a detailed, up-to-date, analytical report, with proactive policy recommendations that will assist the Planning Board, County Council, Department staff, and other officials in policy-making and planning initiatives.
