Aerial Spraying for Emergent Habitat on Sandbars on the Missouri River
This is a services contract to provide all labor, supervision, certain equipment/supplies, and transportation to provide total vegetation control on specific sandbars for the Corps of Engineers (Oahe Project ND). There are approximately 80 separate sandbar site that are to be sprayed (see attached maps). There will be a minimum 700 acres that will need to be sprayed and up to an addition 200 acres. A map and shape file will be provided to the contractor by August 15th, 2014 with spray sites, exclusion areas and acreage totals. The 80 sites are located from just below the Garrison Dam to 20 mile south of Bismarck ND. There is a total of 102 river miles from the farthest north spray site to the farthest south site location. Actual acres will be determined through GPS data taken by contractor. The contractor will be paid for actual acres sprayed.
