Adult Custody Medical Specialty Telemedicine Pilot Project

As part of its on-going efforts to improve access and provide cost efficient medical care in the Orange County Jails, the County of Orange Health Care Agency (HCA) is seeking proposals from organizations interested and capable of providing specialized medical care, via telemedicine, to adults in the Orange County Sheriff's Department custody. Telemedicine means medical services and/or consultation provided through an electronic video process for inmate/patient care. Telemedicine services through this SIQ are to be provided as a pilot project, designed to evaluate the cost and benefits of these services and shall be for a period of at least one year from the date services begin.
