Admiral's Flag Barge
The unique and lasting impression provided by the PACFLT Flag's barge is also used by Commander, Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM), Commander, Pacific Air Forces, Commander, Army Pacific, and Commander, Maritime Forces Pacific . It has an extensive history of supporting official visits by Heads of State, foreign government and military leaders, U.S. Presidents, Vice Presidents, U.S. Cabinet members, members of Senate and Congress, as well as influential people of industry, education and civil leaders. A suitable replacement Flag Barge is imperative to the enduring operations in INDOPACOM's Area of Responsibility and has a direct impact on mission readiness.
The Flag Barge will primarily be used to ferry very important persons (VIP) in comfortable accommodations to and from the ARIZONA Memorial, around Ford Island Pearl Harbor, Ford Island and neighboring sites within the harbor.
