The US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) has a requirement for the US Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense (USAMRICD) at 3100 Ricketts Point Road, Aberdeen Proving Ground South (Edgewood Campus), Maryland 21010. This notice serves a synopsis in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2. USAMRICD intends to procure administrative and professional support services to meet its mission's goals (research, consultation, and education & training. The support services will be required for a twelve-month base period with one twelve-month option period. The contract type is firm-fixed-price, single award and will be competed as a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business set-aside. This acquisition will be procured pursuant to FAR subpart 12; Acquisition of Commercial Item, FAR subpart 15 Contracting by Negotiation, and FAR subpart 19 Small Business Program. A full Performance Work Statement (PWS) will be included in the soliciation. The anticipated period of performance start date is 2 September 2014.

Email requests can be submitted ONLY AFTER 29 July 2014. It will be the offeror's responsbility to monitor the FEDBIZOPPS website for amendments to the solicitation. All prospective offerors must be actively registered in the System for Award Management Database(sam.gov) and ensure that the applicable NAICS code of 541611 is included in the SAM profile prior to submission of proposals.
