Addition of Classroom Alert Equipment to Existing Outside Emergency Alert System for Campus Police Department
UNCSA Police Department is establishing a new communications center. This solicitation seeks bids to add classroom alert equipment to the existing.
The UNCSA Department of Police and Public Safety currently operates a CALL24 wireless callbox system which is fully integrated with a Campus Alert speaker system. This integrated system consists of 30 external (outside) call box locations; each location is equipped with call box capabilities, as well as, speaker capabilities. There is one base station for this integrated system which is located within the Department of Public Safety.
The UNCSA Department of Police and Public Safety seeks to add indoor capabilities to the existing system by adding 90 Classroom Alert units to the existing UNCSA outside emergency alert system. These units must fully integrate into this existing system, activating from the existing base station.
