Add-On Module to CATS
The United States Department of Agriculture, Agriculture Marketing Service, Cotton and Tobacco Programs, plans to award a sole source contract to Quantitative Engineering Solutions LLC (QES) located at 3525 Castle Lane, Suite 6, Alcoa, TN 37701 for the purchase of four ADD-ON Sub-sampling and Indexer Modules. QES is the contractor who designed and built the ADD-ON module. This contract will also include work for QES to integrate these ADD-ON Modules into a conveyance system to allow for the delivery of cotton samples to each ADD-ON Module and connected HVI Automic System at a rate of approximately 1000 per eight hours of uninterrupted operation. The initial delivery will include four ADD-ON Modules with the option to purchase up to four addition units. QES will be responsible for the design, purchase, installation, etc. of the conveyance system to integrate with the CATS ADD-ON modules. The period of performance for this contract is from date of award through 12 months. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE. Requests for a solicitation will be ignored. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
