The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties interest in to provide additional air boat specific repairs services through the center of the state, and provide survey vessel repair in the Tampa/St Petersburg and Southeast Florida regions to their current Blanket purchase Agreement (BPA). This is a non-personal services agreement to provide additional air boat specific repairs.


The government intends on awarding Multiple BPAs, regionally, throughout the State of Florida. The regions will cover a 75-mile radius of:


• Region 1, Jacksonville, FL;
• Region 2, Stuart FL;
• Region 3, Miami, FL; and
• Region 4, St. Petersburg, FL.
• Region 5A, Palatka, FL. (Air boat Specific)
• Region 5B, Perimeter of Lake Okeechobee. (Air Boat Specific)


This request is to add no less than one (1) full ship yard and two (2) air-boat specific repair providers located:
One (1) near Miami/Ft Lauderdale area (full ship yard)
One (1) near Palatka (air boat specific) and
One (1) between Okeechobee and Clewiston, FL (air boat specific)


This Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) outlines the basic services to be performed in a broad nature and each BPA Call Order issued will expand the services to be accomplished which will be unique to each project.


The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 336611and size standard 1,250 employees.


There is no solicitation at this time. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.


The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of various members of industry, namely the Small Business Community to include Section 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Women-Owned (WOSB) and Historically Underutilized (HUBZone) concerns. The Government must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of responsible contractors.


The period of performance will be from time of award until 5 February 2022 for all Boat Repairs.


All responses to this sources sought notice/market research will be evaluated and used in determining acquisition strategy.


Submission Instructions: Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to perform the above-listed services are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by 3 May 18 by 1300 hrs. EST. All responses under this Sources Sought Notice must be emailed to Gerald.l.Garvey@usace.army.mil and CC Jesse.Lugo@usace.army.mil.
Prior Government contract work is not required for submitting a response under this sources sought synopsis.
