This announcement serves as a Sources Sought Notice issued for the purpose of Market Research in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. This Sources Sought Notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation nor is this notice a Request for Proposals (RFP). DLA Troop Support is NOT requesting a quote or proposal in response to this notice. This notice should not be construed as a commitment by DLA Troop Support for any purpose. The Government does not intend to pay for information furnished pursuant to this Request For Information (RFI). The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to conduct market research to identify other parties that have an interest in, and have the resources to support the following requirement.
DLA Troop Support seeks your expression of interest and any suggestion regarding DLA Troop Support's desire to establish supply support for a: Adapter Set, Ground (NSN 1730-01-560-3564).
INFORMATION REQUIREMENTS:
Adapter Set, Ground / NSN 1730-01-560-3564 is to be procured in accordance with approved source Honeywell International, Inc (1M8L7), P/N 1030-2020-FA.
ACQUISITION APPROACH:
The Government intends to award an unrestricted Indefinite Quantity Type Contract (IQC) under FAR Part 13.5, Commercial Test Procedures. The requirement is to provide NSN 1730-01-560-3564 (Adapter Set Ground, P/N 1030-2020-FA).
ANNUAL ESTIMATED QUANTITY: 50 each
ESTIMATED ACQUISITION DOLLAR VALUE: Approximately $6.5 M
PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 2 Years Base and 3 One Year Options
NOTICE: Any interested party in becoming qualified to manufacture the item will be required to submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) package for approval. Interested parties need to identify their capability to provide the aforementioned NSN, and should respond to this announcement via email to [email protected] no later than June 17, 2014 at 3:00 PM Eastern Time.
