Actuarial RFP

The Department invites proposals from
qualified firms to provide actuarial services to the County for the period June 1, 2010
through May 31, 2015. The services provided will include actuarial analyses of the
Countys four (4) self-insurance programs:
1) The Health Insurance Fund, which includes coverage for:
a. Hospital In-Patient/Out-patient;
b. Major Medical;
c. Prescription Drugs;
d. Dental Costs;
e. Vision Costs;
f. Health Maintenance Organization participation
2) The Casualty Reserve Fund, which includes coverage for:
a. General Liability;
b. Automobile Liability;
c. Medical Malpractice
3) The Workers Compensation Fund
4) The Governmental Accounting Standards Boards Statement No. 45
