Actimmune
This is a notice of intent, not a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will not be issued and quotations will not be requested.
The National Institute of Health, Clinical Center (CC) intends to award a Fixed Price Purchase Order to Curascript SD, 255 Technology Park Lake Mary, FL 32746, 877.599.7748 on a sole source basis to procure the pharmaceutical Actimmune to be delivered as necessary to fulfill the requirements of the Pharmacy Department, NIH, Clinical Center. The Government intends to include a base Period of 12 months and four (4) 12 month Option Periods. This medication is included in an NIAMS natural history study, and will be used as needed when potential candidates for treatment are identified. The manufacturer of Actimmune has designated Curascript SD as their only authorized distributor.
This acquisition is being conducted using policies unique to the acquisition of commercial items prescribed in FAR Part 12 in conjunction with the policies and procedures for the competition requirements in FAR Part 6. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this posting. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
