Acquisition for System Technical Support (STS) and Sustainment System Technical Support (SSTS)
It is the Government's intent to award one contract Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Level of Effort (LOE) contract pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, to BAE Systems Land & Armaments, L.P. (BAE Systems), (CAGE # 80212) for the acquisition of Systems Technical Services (STS) and Systems Sustainment Technical Services (SSTS). This action would allow for up to a total of 3,200,966 level-of-effort hours that will be issued on a Work Directive basis. A base effort (to include LOE hours) will be issued a time of award with the remaining hours available to the Government to exercise as option(s) over a five year period.
The STS and SSTS services will include Engineering, Product Assurance/Logistics, and Fielding to support the Bradley Fighting Vehicle System (BVFS) Family of Vehicles (FOV), the Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) Carrier, and the M113 FOV platforms only. Engineering supports includes, but is not limited to Configuration Management, Engineering Change Proposals, Field Problem Analysis, Design and Development, Investigation and Trade Studies, System Integration, Reliability Availably Maintainability (RAM), Verification Testing, Safety Engineering, Software Support, Packaging Development, and Technical Data Package Maintenance. Product Assurance / Integrated Logistics support includes, but is not limited to Depot Logistics Engineering, Technical Data Provisioning, Modification Work Order efforts, and Vehicle Deprocessing. Estimated release date for the solicitation is August 2014. Refer To The Final Solicitation For Issue And Closing Date. Subcontracting opportunities should be sought directly from BAE Systems.
