Acquisition/Lease Former Stone Quarry

The City invites interested parties to submit proposals for the acquisition or lease and proposed use of the surface property rights to its former stone quarry located immediately east of Illinois Route 25 and immediately south of Illinois Toll way and Mettle Road in Aurora, Illinois for the purpose of allowing the development, construction and operation of a clean construction and demolition debris ("CCDD") landfill or for other land use projects. Interested companies shall submit written copies of its proposal to Bill Wiet, Chief Development Officer of the City of Aurora, 44 E. Downer Place, Aurora, Illinois 60507, on or before 12:00 Noon local time on January 21, 2011.
