Acid and Bicarbonate Dialysis Products
The Federal Bureau of Prisons Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the provision of acid concentrates and bicarbonate mixture for the treatment of hemo-dialysis patients at the United States Medical Center for Federal Prisoners (USMCFP) - Springfield, located in Springfield, Missouri. It is anticipated that this RFQ will result in award of a single indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. Award will be made to the responsible quoter who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government. The contract shall consist of a 12 month base period and the possibility of four 12 month option periods. The estimated quantities for each 12 month period of: Item One: 800, 55 gallon drums (2K+ Acid, Acid Concentrate requirements: Sodium 137mEq/L; Potassium 2.0; Calcium 2.5; Magnesium .75; Acetate 4.0; Chloride 105; Dextrose 2.0g/L; NaCl 263.0g; KCI 6.71g; CaCl 6.24g; MgCl 1.61g; CHCOH 10.8; CHO 90.0g;). Item Two: 150, 55 gallon drums, (3K+ Acid, Acid Concentrate requirements: Sodium 137mEq/L; Potassium 3.0; Calcium 2.5; Magnesium .75; Acetate 4.0; Chloride 106; Dextrose 2.0g/L; NaCl 263.0g; KCI 10.1g; CaCl 6.24g; MgCl 1.61g; CHCOH 10.8; CHO 90.0g;). Item Three: 3,600 bags, (45X Bicarbonate, 12 Treatment Bags. Bicarbonate concentrate requirements: Ionic Composition: Sodium 37mEq/L: Bicarbonate 37mEq/L; Chemical Comp: 7692gm. Sodium bicarbonate, USP). The solicitation will be available on or about January 07, 2015 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov.
