The State intends to secure a contract for the Tennessee Electronic Library (http://www.tntel.info) to acquire full-text multidisciplinary databases for Tennessee K-12 libraries, academic libraries, public libraries, and for remote use by all Tennessee residents. The product should provide comprehensive
coverage of general interest and academic disciplines encompassing the humanities, social sciences, and sciences, as well as business and career, consumer health, current event / pro&con issues, reader's advisory, and other topics from a variety of formats including popular magazines, scholarly journals,
newspaper articles, general reference books, web content, multimedia, etc.
