Aboriginal Literacy Assessment Learning Outcomes Framework
The following Request for Proposals (RPF) seeks candidates with the knowledge and qualifications to develop a learning outcomes framework for assessing individual learner progress in Aboriginal literacy in British Columbia.
While BC measures and reports provincial literacy rates using the International Adult Literacy Skills Survey (IALSS), there is recognition that various systems in BC offering literacy skills training often use frameworks and benchmarks specifically designed by their sectors to reflect the unique characteristics of the population they serve, programs and approach they take to delivery, and the assessment and monitoring approaches they utilize .
