Dental Examination Chairs for VA Asheville Medical Center
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation, written under the authority of FAR part 13.5, for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. Quotes shall reference VA246-17-Q-1126. This Request for Quote (RFQ) document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95.
The Network Contracting Office 6 - SAO East intends to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order for BRAND NAME ONLY A-Dec, Inc. (DUNS: 009617473) Dental Examination Chairs and related equipment, for delivery to the VA Asheville Medical Center in Asheville, North Carolina. This procurement is being conducted under FAR subpart 13.5 Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Certain Commercial Items, and FAR 12.603 for Streamlined Solicitation of Commercial Items.
The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339114, Dental Equipment and Supplies Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 750 employees. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs). All offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov, and registered in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) at https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/, to be considered for an award of a federal contract. Read the solicitation in its entirety for other requirements to submit a successful offer. The offeror s SAM entity record must be complete and not missing elements such as representations and certifications.

DUE DATE: The Government will award a contract resulting from this RFQ to the responsible offeror whose quote is the best value to the Government. Quotes are due by 08:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on Wednesday, 31 May 2017. Quotes received after this date and time will be considered late in accordance with 52.212-1(f) and will not be evaluated. Quotes shall be submitted via e-mail to daniel.spaulding@va.gov.
