ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR COUNTY COURTROOM PROJECT
This Request for Proposal (RFP) is for the purpose of contracting with a qualified firm to provide a proposal for
Architectural and Engineering Services per specifications contained herein for the County courtroom Project
1. Provide Architectural and Engineering Services as required to assist the County in its efforts to determine the
scope of work required to remodel the project space. The project space is approximately 4,390 SF. This project will consist of a new courtroom and associated areas described herein to be located within the existing space as outlined above.
2. The area of work consists of approximately 4,390 SF of existing space located on the first floor of the
County Government Center.
3. Services to be provided will include but not be limited to the following: Schematic Design, Design Development,
Construction Documents, Permit/Bidding and Construction Administration/Observation.
4. Project is to provide design for a new Courtroom, Judges’ Chambers and Holding Cell to be located within one
space and as an option, an additional Judges’ chambers outside of courtroom space.
5. Compensation will be a fixed fee with a percentage for reimburseables.
6. Estimated construction cost on this project is $600,000.
