The Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for AOE- Vocational Training Courses: General Business Vocational Technology, Retail Management Technology, Building Trades Vocational Technology and Air Conditioning/Refrigeration Vocational Technology for the inmates held in the custody of the Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons, located at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Safford, Safford, Arizona. All duties shall be performed in accordance with standards and methods generally accepted within the industry and in compliance with all Federal and State policies and regulations. The contractor will provide advanced occupational training courses in accordance with the Statement of Work. The Government contemplates awarding of an indefinite-delivery, requirements-type contracts with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from the future solicitation. The performance period will be for a base year, being Date of Award (DOA) through twelve months and four 12 month option periods. The Government anticipates requiring 630 sessions per year (approximately 25 inmates for General Business Vocational Training; 630 sessions per year (approximately 25 inmates) for Retail Management Technology; 900 sessions per year (approximately 18 inmates) for Building Trades Vocational Technology; and 360 sessions per year (approximately 18 inmates) for Air Conditioning/Refrigeration Vocational Technology. A session is defined as one hour. Services will be required Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays between the hours of 8:00 am to 11: 00 am and from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Not to exceed 30 hours per week. A Government solicitation document to provide these services is being developed, and a contract may or may not result. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement.
