AN/ASQ 239 Barracuda IDAS Training for F-35
The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis technical training and curriculum development on the AN/ASQ-239 Barracuda Integrated Defensive Avionics Suite developed for the F-35 Lightning II, and participation in technical interchange meetings supporting this effort to BAE Electronic Systems, 65 Spit Brook Road, Nashua, NH, 03060. BAE is the developer of the F-35's digital threat warning/electronic support receiver, as well as the suite's Radio Frequency and Infrared countermeasures systems, therefore has the required knowledge and expertise to provide the training and curriculum of the AN/ASQ-239. Any firms believing that they can perform the services may submit a written response that clearly demonstrates the capability, knowledge and expertise of the AN/ASQ-239.
