AN/APG-79 5th and 6th Receiver Channel Wiring and WRA's Upgrade
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has a requirement for an engineering change to the AN/APG-79 Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) RADAR 5th and 6th receiver channel wiring upgrade for the Royal Australian Ai Force (RAAF) AF/A-18F and AE/A-18Faircraft. The engineering change incorporates the Non-Recurring Engineering and Logistics for the wiring upgrade for retrofit of Lots 32 and 33 RAAF aircraft. NAVAIR intends to negotiate the effort as a sole source order to the F/A-18 and EA-18G Basic Ordering Agreement with The Boeing Company, St. Louis, MO. Award of the order will be made with authority under FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. As the prime contractor for the aircraft Boeing has the manufacturing knowledge, experience, and technical data required to fulfill this requirement within the time required. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit technical information and a technical capability statement in response to this notice. Responses without a return address, mailing address, and company telephone number will not be recognized. No phone calls will be accepted. Proprietary data in the responses will be protected where so designated. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be eligible for contract award or payment from any DoD activity. A determination not to compete this proposed effort based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
