Salient Characteristics

General Requirements: Vendor shall provide 8 each Ultrasound Endocavity Transducers and 8 packs/24 single use Needle Guide s for use with the ultrasound transducers compatible with the Arietta 70LE imaging system as listed below in the technical requirements with 1 year -12-month, Standard Coverage Warranty at the Amarillo VA Medical Center at 6010 Amarillo Blvd. West. in Amarillo, TX.
Technical Requirements:
Vendor must provide 8 each Endocavity Ultrasound Transducers and 8 packs/24 single use Needle Guide accessories compatible with the Arietta 70LE Imaging System.
Vendor must provide a 1-year (12 month) standard coverage warranty.

Vendor must have a proven track record for implementation within the VA and provide Amarillo VA medical center references.
The facility currently owns a Hitachi Ariatta 70LE Ultrasound System and now requires 8 each of the Ultrasound Endocavity Tansducers, 200B0 field of view for prostate imaging to support Veteran Care. In addition, the Ultrasound Endocavity Transducers will each require a single use needle guide for the probe biopsy capability.

Site Implantation: Devices will be shipped to Amarillo VAHCS. Professional installation is not required as these device(s) are placed by the dental staff prior to procedures.

Vendor shall provide all necessary labor and materials associated with:
One Year product warranty
In-service to OR and Sterile Processing Staff on the set-up, use, pre-treatment, reprocessing and storage of the reusable medical equipment.
Training: Vendor shall provide all necessary user training manuals and to ensure competency and optimal operability.
Warranty: One Year product warranty for the maintenance unit.
Time to Completion: 30 Calendar days from Notice to Proceed.
