AIR 4.11 - Wideband networking handheld radios, cable assemblies, and antennas
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ intends to issue a fixed price contract for the procurement of wideband networking handheld radios, cable assemblies, and antennas on a sole source basis to Harris Corporation (Harris). The procurement will support the Navy Special Warfare (NSW) Command.
The requested Harris radios are required to provide a network extension for NSW fielded Harris 117G and 152A radios. The requested Harris wideband networking handheld radios will be used for inter-team communications during NSW operations.
The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
