The Air Force District of Washington Contracting Directorate (AFDW/PK), Joint Base Andrews (JBA), Maryland, is conducting market research to identify potential sources that may be capable of providing Information Systems Support Services for the 844th Communications Group in support of Headquarters Air Force (HAF), Air Force District of Washington (AFDW), Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), and other Air Force activities within the Air Force National Capital Region (AFNCR). The main support locations are the Pentagon, JBA, and Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB). The Contractor shall provide all IT and telecommunications services necessary to meet the AFNCR requirements in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). These Services will include but are not limited to: Program Management; IT Operations and Maintenance; Plans, Projects, and Engineering; and Asset Management.

This Request for Information (RFI) is issued for informational purposes and market research only, and does not constitute a solicitation. The Government will NOT reimburse any company or individual for any expense associated with preparing or submitting information in response to this posting. **An Industry is planned for 29 May 2018 through 1 June 2018 at the 11th FSS Community Commons/Chesapeake Ballroom on Joint Base Andrews (Bldg 1442, Concorde Ave). The introductory briefing will be at 8:00 AM Eastern Time (ET) on 29 May 2018 and will be followed by one-on-one meetings starting at 1:00 PM ET with each company until the final day on 1 June 2018, where all attendees will gather at the Community Commons for the Government's closing remarks. The order in which we will have the one-on-one meetings will be revealed at the introductory briefing. A list of questions has been included with this request, six of which will be discussed for 15 minutes total by the contractor during the one-on-one sessions at industry day (Questions 1 through 5 and Question 11) and all others shall be due No Later Than 4 June 2018 at 4:00 PM ET. All contractors interested in attending industry day shall submit the following information to both Points of Contact (POCs) listed above by 12:00 Noon ET, 21 May 2018:


- Identification Document (ID) number and State of Issue
- Full name (EXACTLY as it appears on the ID)
- Date of Birth


All visitors shall be vetted through National Crime Information Center (NCIC), and must have a form of State or federally issued ID (Driver's license, State ID card, Passport, etc.). Due to security concerns and to allow for sufficient base access processing times, there will be a limit of three representatives per company.


** NOTE: State issued licenses and ID cards must be "Real ID Act" compliant.

Responses should not exceed 10 pages. Submitted documentation becomes the property of the United States Government and will not be returned. No feedback or evaluations will be provided. Please submit any questions or suggested changes to the PWS with your response.


Respondents shall clearly mark proprietary data with the appropriate markings. When submitting a response, please be aware that the Air Force workforce is supplemented by contracted support services personnel who have signed Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
